Travel Advisory

Children in Sarawak below 10 years old are discouraged from traveling outer state as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of HFM disease.

Malaysia Health Minister, Dr. Chua announced that the temporary ban decision after discussions with the State Government here. This also came after another death was recorded over the weekend, bringing the total to 6 todate.

Coincidently, this week is also the start of a week long school holiday, travelers especially from Peninsular Malaysia with children are a plenty. Ignorant bliss? or is this the never mind attitude that I have been hearing about? Where is common sense when it is needed?
