Conmen in Kuching?
They are doing these (below) way too often, at least monthly!
It's quite a common sight in Kuching town to see an old lady or man walking solo from shop to shop and at eateries, table to table with those receipt asking for donation. Some can be intimidating and usually irritating. Are they conmen? blackmailer? or legitimate donation collectors? Some of them even claimed to be from various associations and temples?
Somehow, there are just too many of them to tell which are the legitimate ones.
I am charitable and I gave in a couple of time but I just felt cheated!
Can someone tell me that I have not been duped?
