Penang Char Kueh Tiaw in Kuching?
I normally don't blog about food that's not native to Kuching but I simply just love Penang Char Kueh Tiaw. Knowing that fact, a friend recomended a place that serves this and are frequent by Kuchingites. However to my dissapoinment, its merely a good attempt at dulicating the original.
Don't get me wrong, it's a well presented and good normal char kueh tiaw and that's it. Its just not the same as the Penang original as it seems to be lacking something? Maybe its the 'Bak-Ew-Pok' or the lard oil?
