Titleist Carry Bag Review

Titleist is my favorite brand in golf.

I confessed that I am a free walking advertisement for Titleist. Ever since I started playing golf, I played with Titleist's drivers, from 975D to the latest 905T, my irons are also Titleist, DCI 990 and my addiction to the Pro V golf balls will probably never stop.

Recently I bought a Titleist carry bag which I long for ages. However to my disappointment, after only 2 months of usage, the strap is giving way (see photo insert below. Note: also see the rust on the metal ring). I only play once a week which is equivalent to less than 10 outings. I expected higher quality product especially from company like Titleist that makes equipment for serious golfers and Golf's Symbol of Excellence

I have lodged a complain with the pro shop (Transview Golf, Kuching) from where the bag was purchased. Initially the answer given by the manager was not encouraging, however he will forward the fault to Titleist. I was also told that it will take quite a while for Titleist's office in Kuala Lumpur to reply.

Lets wait and see (Watch this space)

Thank you for your question regarding the Titleist golf bag in your
possession. Titleist golf bags carry a one year warranty from date of
purchase. If you feel your bag is defective under warranty, please return
it to year nearest authorized Titleist dealer, preferably the venue from
which you purchased it from originally. If this isn't possible, you may
take it to any golf course or off-course golf retailer in your area that
sell our products. They will be able to set up a Return Authorization
through us on your behalf. Keep in mind that we will repair when able
(stands, legs, zippers, divider padding) and replace only when unable.

Hmm... I don't feel good about this but lets see what the retailer will do about it.

Today is October 4th, 2005! Its been over a month!!! Still no news from the golf retailer where I returned the defective Titleist golf bag.

Waiting until end of the week before writing an official letter!!!
